Warre’s Cavadinha Vintage Port from Douro has an excellent deep ruby red color. Very aromatic and fresh nose, bursting with blackberry and fruit combined with fragrant floral notes. On the palate there is a seductive taste of plums and cherries.

The Douro is the most important place when it comes to Port wine and one of Portugal’s most famous regions. The region is named after the river of the same name that runs through the Douro Valley. Warre’s, the oldest British Port house, has some of the best vineyards in the area and owns one of the Douro’s finest vineyards, Quinta de Cavadinha. Warre’s was founded in 1670 and from the very beginning, the company was a pioneer in the production of port wine. Warre’s has long been known for its great elegant Vintage Ports.
