Kongens Bryghus – Part of Denmark’s Beer History
Kongens Bryghus was a royal brewery in Denmark that was established in the the 17th century and played an important role in Danish beer history. The brewery was founded by King Christian V in 1670 with the aim of ensuring a stable supply of quality beer for the Danish king and court. Located in Copenhagen, it became an important institution in the city’s brewing industry.
