New Zealand winery Cloudy Bay is best known for its Sauvignon Blanc, but when Te Koko was released in 2015, Sauvignon Blanc fans forgot all about the classic. Cloudy Bay Te Koko 2015 is produced exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The white wine is different in the sense that Te Koko is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and then matured for 18 months in the bottle.

The result is an elegant, complex and mature wine. The white wine nose offers notes of ripe citrus, stone fruit and a hint of spice. Flavors of fresh grapefruit and white nectarine provide a good balance between acidity and sweetness. Serve the wine at a temperature of 10-12 degrees or store it for at least ten years.
