The Absolut story began in the 19th century with the extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit of one man: Lars Olsson Smith. He had remarkable business acumen and by the age of 14, he controlled a third of all vodka sales in Sweden. In 1879, L. O. Smith launched his masterpiece “Absolutely pure Bränvin” made using a revolutionary distilling technique: continuous distillation. The method is still used today and removes impurities in the vodka while retaining the flavor of the original raw materials.

Absolut Citron is made entirely from natural ingredients and unlike some other flavored vodkas, this means that this vodka contains no added sugar.

Absolut Citron is smooth and soft, with a fresh fruity lemon and lime character and a note of lemon zest.
