Egon Adelhardt had worked in a bottling plant for 13 years when he decided to become a manufacturer in the late 1940s.
He scoured the country to find the largest city without its own soda factory and settled on Ribe, where he opened his mineral water factory in 1949.
Initially, Egon produced soft drinks, but in 1952, an advertisement appeared in Dagbladet Vestkysten in which Egon Adelhardt invited the locals in Ribe to drop by with their fallen apples – and in return, he would give them must.
Organic and handmade to perfection.
This was the start of a September tradition, and in the years that followed you could see people with baskets full of apples queuing down the street where the factory was located.
Thus begins the story of Adelhardt, which 70 years later can now offer a strong portfolio of delicious sodas, juices and juices made from good, pure organic ingredients, full of flavor and produced in Denmark.
