Blue Velvet Violet Gin came about by accident. Martín Jaime, founder of Turmeon and owner of Bodegas Jaime winery, was preparing a new spring vermouth with different flowers. Finding the taste a little too sweet, he decided to add a base of gin – soaked with juniper, coriander, angelica root and cardamom. The result was Blue Velvet Violet Gin, which has a classic profile with a 100% natural blue color. Blue Velvet Violet Gin is made from violet flower, cherry blossom, lily and pea flower – in fact, it’s the pea flower that makes the gin change color.
