Brugal 1888 is a super-premium rum aged in both traditional American bourbon barrels and European sherry casks. The barrels are placed horizontally in a specially designed house so that the distillates are in constant contact with the barrels. This ensures the final expression of Brugal 1888 as a perfectly balanced rum.

Brugal 1888 was created to commemorate the year Don Andres Brugal founded Brugal in the Dominican Republic. Today, it is still the Brugal family, now in its fifth generation.

Brugal 1888 presents a dark golden color with amber hues and complex spicy aromas with hints of chocolate, roasted coffee and dried fruit, accompanied by a full-bodied taste with barrel notes and a hint of cola.

Brugal 1888 is best enjoyed neat or as an ingredient in cocktails.
