The grappa is barrel aged in oak barrels and the bottles are individually wrapped by hand.
The grappa itself is made from pressed pomace of the Nebbiolo grape from Barolo.   The color has a rich amber hue that comes from aging the Barolo for at least four years in small quantities.
The taste is slightly perfumed with deep and rich flavors of vanilla.
The grappa has a good body.
It is best served chilled and also benefits from resting in the glass for ten minutes to fifteen minutes before drinking.
