In 1847, Johan Gramp planted the first vines for his vineyard. This was on the banks of Jacobs Creek in Australia, which still exists to this day. Jacobs Creek Shiraz/Cabernet is, as the name suggests, made from Shiraz and Cabernet grapes.

It’s a medium-bodied wine with a dominant blackberry and blueberry flavor. There are also notes of pepper, tannins and oak, all of which contribute to a long finish. The wine has fruity aromas of black cherries, anise, cherries and plums. The deep red color is intense and beautiful.
