Pampero was founded in 1938 by Alejandro Hernandez who was the son of a fisherman. Hernandez’s original recipe introduced a distillation process that was very unique in Venezuela. Hernandez harvested the finest sugar cane in only the incredibly dry season to produce a smoother alcohol. This alcohol mixed with the local Carbonero spring water makes a characteristically deep, complex and intense spirit with a surprisingly smooth and rounded flavor.
