How do I test if my hygrometer is calibrated?
Fill a bowl with salt and add water until the salt forms a thick paste. The salt must not dissolve.
Place the hygrometer and bowl in an airtight zipper bag.
After 6 hours, the hygrometer shows an accurate humidity of 75%.
If it shows more or less than 75%, it needs to be recalibrated.
How do I calibrate my hygrometer?
Press the Set button for 3 seconds to put the device in calibration mode.
When you calibrate the device for the first time, 0% is displayed.
Press the “Min/Max/Clear” button to adjust the display according to the calibration.
