Piper-Heidsieck Brut is the classic expression of this leading champagne house and has been at the heart of the range for years. Brut is a dry, smooth and lively non-vintage champagne with a refined character. A collection of pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay wines, 20-30% of which are reserve wines, provides unprecedented balance and structure. Pinot Noir and Meunier together make up around 85% of the blend, and wines based on these grape varieties give Piper-Heidsieck Brut champagne structure and smooth, round flavors. Wine based on the Chardonnay grape gives this champagne a lively, fresh touch.
