Plantation was born in the 1990s after Alexandre Gabriel, owner and chairman of Maison Ferrand, scoured the Caribbean for the best rum. Since then, his work with rum has been rewarded with several awards and titles. In 2012, Alexandre Gabriel won the title of Master Blender and the Golden Barrel Award.

Plantation Guatemala & Belize Gran Anejo is, as the name suggests, a blend of rums from Guatemala and Belize. Its aroma consists of deep notes of sherry with a hint of roasted spices.
