Do it yourself – with the Qnubu electric hot press, producing delicious Rosindabs is easy and safe! Rosin is the name for cannabis resin, which is only extracted by pressure and heat. Resin is thus an absolutely pure concentrate, free of solvents such as alcohol or butane gas. Because of the purity, but also because of the much less dangerous production, extraction with special resin presses is becoming more and more popular.

With the ‘Qnubo’ press, raisin extraction is child’s play and will also be easy for those new to extraction. The suction cup feet, which ensure the most secure stand, are fantastic on this press. And the uncomplicated application speaks for itself:

Simply wrap flowers, buds or other herbal material in a suitable rosin filter bag and then in baking paper, heat the press to the desired temperature (digital display), place the press material between the press plates, lock the press using the hook mechanism, set the timer to the desired duration and you’re in business! With a pressure of 600 kg, the press reliably presses the precious rosin out of the plant material without using force and without risk of explosion. As the resin can run out the sides of the press plate, we recommend building a ‘boat’ with a drain out of the baking paper.

The right choice of temperature and duration of the pressing process depends largely on the type, quality and condition of the starting material and often requires testing with smaller quantities. As a guideline, Qnubu recommends 90°C with a pressing time of 60 seconds. We also recommend placing rosin directly in the freezer after pressing. This prevents the terpenes from degrading and losing their flavor.
