Yeni Rakı Ferzan is a special bottling of the popular Turkish anise schnapps Yeni Raki. This special edition is named after Ferzan Özpetek, a famous Turkish-Italian director and screenwriter known for his sensitive and aesthetically pleasing films. Yeni Rakı Ferzan Edition is a tribute to Ferzan Özpetek and his artistic contributions. This special bottling is characterized by a particularly high quality and a finer taste. It is produced through a more careful and slower distillation process, resulting in an even purer and more intense aroma.

Yeni Rakı Ferzan is a special and rare rakı that comes from ‘Mey İçki’s ‘Yenilikhane’ distillery, which also produced exceptional rakıs like Yeni Rakı Uzun Deleme, Yeni Rakı Giz and Yeni Rakı Pus. Yeni Rakı Ferzan is dedicated to the famous Turkish director Ferhan Özpetek and only 55,938 bottles were produced. Only fresh grapes (i.e. no raisins) were used for the mash. The double distillation used anise seeds that are grown and sold exclusively by female anise farmers to support the women financially.
Yeni Rakı’s Ferzan Edition has a rich and complex flavor profile. It combines the traditional aromas of anise and grape with subtle, finely balanced nuances. The result is a smooth yet strong schnapps that can be enjoyed neat, with water or on ice.
