Jean Antonin Renault founded the Renault cognac house in 1835. Since its foundation, Renault Cognac has been produced with respect for the original Charente tradition. After a careful selection, the grapes are harvested and vinification begins. The wine is distilled twice and only the heart of the distillate (the best part) is used in the production of Renault eau-de-vie, which matures in wooden casks made from oak from the Tronçais forest.

Renault AVEC has a very round and smooth taste with pronounced notes of mocha, vanilla and roasted wood from the special triple steamed & brasero toasted oak casks. The unique barrel treatment, where the oak barrel is immersed in water and then brasero toasted 3 times, enhances the unique mocha and vanilla aromas of AVEC. This cognac complements coffee perfectly – even better than traditional cognac.
