Ron Sostenible Rum Blanco 40% 70 clProduct description: Ron Sostenible Blanco is a unique light rum made from pure sugar cane juice.
The sugar cane surrounding the distillery is pressed and the juice is used to produce the rum.
Ron Sostenible Blanco is therefore not a molasses-based rum!   The rum is distilled using the column method and then aged in bourbon barrels for 12 months.
In the Dominican Republic, rum must be aged for a minimum of 12 months for the product to be called ‘rum’.
The 12 months of aging helps develop a complex rum with a wildflower aroma and a good long, complex aftertaste with notes of licorice – immediately after aging, the rum has a golden color.
However, it becomes crystal clear again after the filtration process.   The rum can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks on a hot summer day.
It’s also ideal for taking cocktails to new heights.
