Sevablødda Bitter is a Bornholm dram made from a recipe that is over 100 years old. It is originally in the “no recipe left behind” category. It has a lovely spicy taste and aroma. It is a cinnamon spiced cherry dram bottled in a Retro ceramic bottle. It has a very unique and warm flavor.
The story behind this Bornholm dram is as follows: Police officer Axel Niebe, Nexø, kept an eye on it all in 1909, but only revealed the story in 1964. “Brændehandel og Skibsproviantering H.S. Munch produced “ejn soder syp”, which gave its name to the refreshment breaks during the ships’ hauling to the slipway. When Slidsken was smeared with soap, the thirsty throats also got their “blødda”. The content is composed of many equal parts of delicate liquor, and “Dænj ska drikkes te enj kanj saj Sevablødda ræjtit. When you can’t drink anymore, you shouldn’t drink anymore.”
