The drink is produced by Danish Søbogaard and consists of an extract of organic elderflowers and lemon concentrate.
It is sweetened with organic cane sugar.
A little about elderflowers: The elder is one of the few large trees that blooms in midsummer, and for many it has become the “tree of summer”.
The elder used to be common in populated areas.
In the past, for example, it was planted at dung heaps to provide shade so that the sun did not dry out the fertilizing power.
Often, however, it grew on its own and placed itself beautifully in the landscape.
Søbogaard has been producing good stuff since 1976.
