Zacapa El Alma (“The Soul”) is a limited edition release from the coveted Heavenly Cask Collection. Created by Zacapa master blender Lorena Vásquez, each edition celebrates a particular aging cask and its unique influence on flavor.

El Alma is aged using the Sistema Solera method and spends special time in charred Bourbon seasoned casks, giving the rum an intense, deep and warm character with distinct spice and roasted sweetness.

Tasting notes

• Aroma: Vanilla, toasted oak notes, caramel, light coconut and deep spicy notes.

• Taste: Rich and silky with toasted oak, dark caramel, cocoa, almonds, cardamom and a hint of tropical fruit.
