Akashi Meisei is made at the White Oak distillery, which was actually the first distillery in Japan to be granted a license to produce distilled spirits way back in 1919. Since then, the distillery has been allocated and is now located near the coast, where the whisky benefits from the stable and mild climate.

The color is like clear and bright amber, and the nose has notes of buttered toasted buns, chocolate-covered peanuts and finally a spicy touch. The taste notes consist of walnut, cherry, nutmeg and pepper. An incredibly delicious finish that has distinct notes of apricot.
