With a Yamazaki 12 YO you get an excellent single malt whiskey, but it also comes with a piece of history. This was the first real Japanese single malt whiskey to hit the market way back in 1984. It has aged a full 12 years, and it shows.

The color is a clear light amber and the nose has notes of nuts, flowers and tropical fruits. On the palate, it has elegant flavors that are both sweet and spicy at the same time. The citrus notes develop into tropical fruit notes and a hint of rum. A zealous finish that has distinct tropical fruit notes.
