As children, brothers Claus and Michael Braunstein spent a good part of their summer vacation every year helping their grandfather gather porc and blackberries along the west coast of Jutland so he could make his spiced schnapps. The mission of Braunstein’s distillery was to relaunch the Danish schnapps, rooted in their grandfather’s old recipes, for the Danish lunch tables.

Braunstein Lyngsnaps is spiced with heather and softened further by a period of aging in large sherry casks, which started as an experiment that has yielded fantastic results, if Braunstein themselves are to say so.

Braunstein Lyngsnaps presents an aroma of hot heather on a hot summer day, which is also reflected in the taste.
