As children, brothers Claus and Michael Braunstein spent a good part of their summer vacation every year helping their grandfather gather porc and blackberries along the west coast of Jutland so he could make his spiced schnapps. The mission of Braunstein’s distillery was to relaunch the Danish schnapps, rooted in their grandfather’s old recipes, for the Danish lunch tables.

Braunstein Morbærsnaps is spiced with mulberries and to achieve greater unity of flavor, the spirit is aged in mulberry wood barrels, which is a rarity in the world of spirits, but makes a delicate contribution to both taste and aroma.

Braunstein Morbærsnaps presents a light golden color, with a slight orange tinge, accompanied by a taste with a distinct hint of mulberry.

Braunstein Morbærsnaps is best enjoyed chilled for lunch, in drinks or over ice.
