As children, brothers Claus and Michael Braunstein spent a good part of their summer vacation every year helping their grandfather gather porc and blackberries along the west coast of Jutland so he could make his spiced schnapps. The mission of Braunstein’s distillery was to relaunch the Danish schnapps, rooted in their grandfather’s old recipes, for the Danish lunch tables.

Porc is like wine, as the microclimate and soil conditions where the plant grows play a major role in the aroma, and in Denmark you’ll only find it in a few places where this interacts.

Braunstein Porsesnaps presents a dark and complex schnapps with a long and smooth taste, sweetly rounded and with the characteristic hint of bitterness in the aftertaste.
