Carpano Punt e Mes Sweet Vermouth is a legend. The story goes that a stockbroker was caught up in a discussion with a colleague in the Carpano wine shop back in 1870. The discussion was about the rise in stock prices, which had gone up a point and a half (‘punt e mes’ in Italian) that day. He ordered his usual Carpano vermouth but asked the bartender to add half a measuring glass of bitters – using the regional term ‘Punt e Mes’. The drink then became popular as an aperitif to be enjoyed before lunch.

Carpano Punt e Mes Sweet Vermouth presents a golden orange color with notes of topaz along with herbal aromas and notes of dark red and black dahlia flowers. The aromas are accompanied by an original sweet taste characterized by an intriguing accent of orange, which is followed by a slightly bitter taste of quinoa.
