Davidoff Year of the Dragon Edition 2024

For the twelfth time in a row, Davidoff celebrates the Chinese New Year with a collection around a zodiac sign. With this release, the brand completes an entire zodiac cycle for the first time, which began in 2013 with Snake. The dragon is the biggest and most important character in the entire zodiac, and Davidoff reflected this with the large double corona cigar.

The limited double corona is composed of 8 different tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Mexico and Ecuador, which together have an age of 60 years. The cigar surprises aficionados with an uncut foot, meaning the first inch (2.5 cm) of the cigar should be enjoyed without the wrapper. This requires the utmost precision in not only rolling, but also mixing. Despite the absence of the wrapper, the beginning of the cigar is very enjoyable and exemplifies a high level of craftsmanship as Master Blenders managed to create an exciting shift in flavor and sensation as soon as the wrapper leaf comes in with added depth and complexity of flavor.

The celebration continues beyond the cigar with a limited edition ashtray and limited edition cutter being produced.
