The Hoyo de Monterrey plantation is one of the most famous Vegas de Primera, with the famous inscription on the entrance door: “Hoyo de Monterrey. Jose Gener. 1860”.
Hoyo de Monterrey is located in one of the fertile areas on the banks of the river that runs through San Juan and Martínez. The Spaniard from Tarragona José Gener first used the name of this Vega for this tobacco brand in 1865.
The mild taste of its blend makes it an attractive option for those who like a less strong, delicate and aromatic Habano, with great elegance and complexity.
