Lagavulin 8 YO Islay Single Malt is the result of the Lagavulin distillery’s 200th anniversary celebrations in 2016. The 8-year-old malt is matured in European and American oak casks, giving it a big, smoky aroma and an oily body.

This malt has a sweet spiciness with scents of herbs, smoke and seaweed. Flavors like charcoal, ash and bitter fruit invade the mouth, and the longer it stays on the tongue, the sharper and smokier it becomes. After swallowing, a long, clean aftertaste of crushed black pepper, tobacco and malt lingers. This malt is especially suitable for after dinner, but can also be enjoyed at other events.
