Rum Nation was founded in Italy by Fabio Rossi, who sources aged rum distillates – primarily from the Caribbean – and then blends and bottles the casks in Italy. Rum Nation has a number of variants in its rum series, and among the most famous is Rum Nation Peruano 8 years.

The aroma of Peruano 8 is sweet, deep and round, with notes of cola, Aperol and Campari. Not explosive, but refined and delicate.

The taste is strong and sweet, with notes of chocolate, sweet coffee and candied fruits. The aftertaste is sweet with notes of honey, yet clean and direct. The alcohol is noticeable but not overwhelming.
