Using African rum from Swaziland as a base, Spirited Union has created a floral and fresh “botanical” rum. The peel of pink grapefruit gives a semi-sweetness that is balanced by the bitter and tart expression of blood orange.

Rose petals are added to the rum via steam infusion, a well-known technique from the gin world that gently extracts the best flavor. This allows Spirited Union to retain a rich and perfumed aroma that, together with elderflower and citrus, rounds off the floral expression of the rum.
