Warre’s was founded in 1670 around the same time as the Royal Life Guard, and in 1960 Warre’s was awarded the title “Royal Court Supplier”. The Royal Life Guard’s Port was created after it was a tradition for the commander of the guard in the Life Guard to welcome his replacement with a glass of Warre’s Port.

This lovely port has a beautiful deep red color with a slight brownish tinge.

The aroma is characterized by notes of plum and cherry.

The taste is complex and has a great structure, with sweetness and fruit in perfect balance. It has a long and very elegant aftertaste.
