Extra wick/wick for Zippo windproof lighters. You can change the wick on your Zippo lighter when the wick is completely black with soot. To change the wick, simply pull up the old wick with a small pair of pliers or tweezers until a clean wick appears. Then cut off the black piece of the wick. To replace the entire wick, the old wick must be pulled out through the bottom. To do this, open the bottom, remove the wadding and wick, and then insert the new wick. Then put a portion of cotton wool into the lighter, fold the wick and insert more cotton wool. Finally, cut the wick at the top and close the bottom of the lighter. The new wick is ready for use.
