At just 5 years old, Ardbeg Wee Beastie’s incredibly smoky character is completely untamed. This young and lively creature has plenty of bite.

On the nose, Ardbeg Wee Beastie presents intense aromas of freshly ground black pepper mixed with
resin and of course the pungent smoke. Suddenly the whisky explodes in the mouth and notes of chocolate and tar are released. These notes are followed by eucalyptus and aniseed.

Flavors of salty meat sink into the palette before a long and salty finish with notes of cocoa and butterscotch slowly subside… revealing the inner beast of this Islay icon.

With its young age and intense smoke, this is truly a “dangerous” dram. Ardbeg Wee Beastie is matured in exbourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, making it perfect to drink neat or as a characterful ingredient in a smoky cocktail.
