This is a different, barrel-aged, full-bodied aquavit with more sweetness than many other aquavits. Combining modern distillation technology and tradition, Bivrost Cask Aquavit is made from a base of traditional potato spirit, classic herbs and spices, blended with meltwater from the glacier, Lyngen Alps. The aroma is pleasant and delicate, with hints of dried fruit and citrus and a distinctive spicy finish.

This handcrafted aquavit is aged in carefully selected sherry casks and matured in underground passages that used to be part of an extensive network of tunnels in a Cold War NATO base.
