As children, brothers Claus and Michael Braunstein spent a good part of their summer vacation every year helping their grandfather gather porc and blackberries along the west coast of Jutland so he could make his spiced schnapps. The mission of Braunstein’s distillery was to relaunch the Danish schnapps, rooted in their grandfather’s old recipes, for the Danish lunch tables.

Braunstein Stjernesnaps presents a soft and mild aroma of sweet licorice with notes of wood and leather, accompanied by a rounded taste with a small dose of orange peel, followed by tobacco and a slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
