As children, brothers Claus and Michael Braunstein spent a good part of their summer vacation every year helping their grandfather gather porc and blackberries along the west coast of Jutland so he could make his spiced schnapps. The mission of Braunstein’s distillery was to relaunch the Danish schnapps, rooted in their grandfather’s old recipes, for the Danish lunch tables.

Braunstein Æblesnaps is a Danish apple brandy, where craftsmanship and the best ingredients are added with care, creating top-class taste experiences. The apples in the schnapps come from Allinge on Bornholm and contribute with the best Danish apples. It is also aged for 4 years in French oak barrels.
