Qinghua Fenjiu 20-year-old Baijiu, 50 cl

This is a Chinese Baijiu, with a history of over 6,000 years. It is still made using traditional methods in Shanxi Provence in northern China.

Aged in traditional ceramic earthenware vats, aged for a full 20 years in ceramic containers, has produced a smooth fruity taste.

Nose. Pear and ripe red apples, some sweet orange aromas build nicely as it breathes in the glass, after a moment or two a sweet herbal aroma comes into play, the mix between fruit and soft herbs is nicely balanced.

Taste: A smooth creamy honey note leads the front palate, with a great build of fruity notes, with apple and hints of ripe pears, and as the nose takes on more of a tart note with a subtle sweet spice us a smooth refreshing finish.
