Jacobsen Yakima IPA is an orange-golden West Coast Indian Pale Ale with a light hop dust produced by the generous dry hopping. The aroma is fresh tropical with aromatic notes of sweet melon, grapefruit and papaya on a solid malt base. The beer has a fresh body with a good astringent bite of hops and a good long aftertaste.

The brewers at Jacobsen Brewery have gone to great lengths to find the ingredients for this aromatic specialty beer. The brewers found four types of hops from the Yakima Valley on the American West Coast; Citra, Mosaic, Ekuanot and Simcoe. Together, the four hop types create the aromatic and astringent bitterness – and refreshing fullness, not to mention – that characterizes Jacobsen Yakima IPA.

With its dominant well-hopped Indian Pale Ale profile and lingering aftertaste, Jacobsen Yakima IPA is the obvious choice for BBQ, fried fish and not least spicy pork as it is known from Asia.
