La Flor de Cano Elegidos, (50 ring gauge x 127 mm length) is the vitola with the heaviest ring gauge to be introduced to the brand’s portfolio. This is the ideal Habanos for those who enjoy medium strength Habanos made with short filler.

All La Flor de Cano Habanos are made with leaves that come from the Vuelta Abajo* (DOP)* and Semi Vuelta zones, in the Pinar del Río* region (PAO), and it is known for its strength and is produced “Totalmente a Mano tripa corta”, “Completely handmade with short filler” technique.

“Totalmente a Mano tripa corta” – “Totally handmade with short filler”, is also recognized as another Habanos manufacturing technique by the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin (PAO)

To produce the Habanos short filler blend, the torcedor cigar roll is combined with other selected chopped tobacco leaves and rolls the filler into full-length binder leaves using a flexible mat attached to the bench to form a firm bunch. The wrapping is applied by hand in the normal way.
