Product description:

Two-component fertilizer for the growth and flowering phase

Hydro A&B is a high concentration mineral base fertilizer to be used during the growth and flowering phases of the plant. This unique liquid fertilizer contains a blend of highly effective trace elements in chelated form (DTPA). Hydro A&B ensures optimal plant development even when the pH is not ideal or the soil temperature is too low. The product can be used on all types of inert surfaces.

Shake well before use. Use a maximum of 1.6 ml Hydro A per 1 liter of water (1:625). For every dose of Hydro A, use the same dose of Hydro B. Use this concentrated fertilizer solution every time you water.

The provisions of standard NF U 42-004 discourage the use of this fertilizer in less than 0.4 kg/m3 water and prohibit it in more than 8, kg/m3 water.

In case of correction of water used with mineral acids or alkalizing products, use only the products mentioned and specified in the standards NF U 42-005:1994 and NF U 42-006:1994, which have become mandatory.

Storage
Do not tilt the product during transportation and store it away from light. Recommended storage temperature: 10-35°C. Keep the container tightly closed.

Composition
Hydro A.

Water, calcium nitrate, magnesium nitrate and potassium chloride. FERTILIZER FOR MINERAL NUTRIENT SOLUTIONS – NFU 42-004, FOR DILUTION. Stock solution for dilution of primary and secondary elements and trace elements. Mass/percentage by mass of raw product: 5% total nitrogen (N) including 5% nitrogen nitrogen (NO
₃
) and 2 % water-soluble potassium oxide (K
₂
O), 6.2 % Calcium (Ca), 0.34 % Magnesium (Mg) ). The provisions of standard NFU 42-004 discourage the use of this fertilizer in less than 0.4 kg/m3 of water and prohibit it in more than 8 kg/m3 of water.

• Attention! Always use Hydro A in combination with Hydro B, in a 1:1 ratio.

Can I use Hydro A & B on other hydrological substrates such as mineral wool or mapito?

Plagron Hydro A & B can be used on all common hydrological substrates.

Your website states that Hydro A & B is effective in a wide pH range. Do I still need to adjust the pH value?

Yes, we do. The pH value of the nutrient solution should be between 5.5 and 6.0. Chelates in the nutrient solution increase absorption at deviating pH values. However, as the pH of your growing medium may differ more from the pH of the nutrient water you add, it is still necessary to adjust the pH of your nutrient solution.

My EC value becomes very high if I combine Hydro A & B with Green Sensation. How can I solve this problem?

Green Sensation increases the EC value by 0.55 uS/cm if you add 1 ml/liter. Solve by first adding Green Sensation and then adding Hydro A & B until you reach the desired CE level.

How long can I store my Hydro A & B nutrient solution in the nutrient reservoir?

The nutrient solution can be stored for four to ten days depending on the hygiene of the grow room and water tank. Make sure none of the products have been mixed into the solution as they can start to spoil after just 24 hours. Preferably monitor the pH value every day, as it will likely start to rise slowly.
