Tranquebar Colonial Dry Gin is inspired by the traditional Genever. The man behind this gin is Jan de Willum, who wanted to create a new form of the traditional Genever, which was also produced by his family at a distillery in Amsterdam. The idea behind Tranquebar Colonial Dry Gin was to create a gin based on more exotic spices. The product is made with the more basic gin spices, just like the traditional Genever – but in addition to these, more exotic ingredients such as nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom and others have been added.

Together, all these ingredients result in a classic and light gin. The taste is unique and a bit special in a good way, as the product promotes a rich and spicy taste of juniper, cinnamon and cardamom with a twist of citrus.
