Bruni Regio is a delicious chardonnay with a strong character and fresh taste, made from 70% Vermentino and 30% Chardonnay grapes.
The grapes are grown in Tuscany, near the azure sea of the Maremma coast. Maremma is Tuscany’s southernmost wine region, bordering Lazio to the south and the Mediterranean Sea between mainland Italy and Sardinia. The wine region offers a unique microclimate where the heat of Tuscany meets the temperate winds of the Mediterranean.
The grapes for Bruni Regio are harvested in late August and early September. They then undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature of 16-17 degrees. Bruno Regio should be enjoyed in its youth and is recommended with light poultry, lean fish, vegetables, but can also be served on its own, for example as an aperitif.
