Harald Jensen (born 1837) was a painter and distiller – and a great asset to cultural life in Aalborg. In 1863, he developed the aromatic, clear aquavit that has since borne his name.

The experience.
It is distilled from caraway seeds and infused with distillates of anise seed, galangal root, ginger, allspice and Roman chamomile. The taste is nuanced, with distinct caraway notes and hints of dried spices and licorice.
