Danish Søren and Bettina Kongsgaard are behind this Nordic-inspired gin distilled in the heart of Cognac. The distiller is Australian Miko Abouaf.

Kongsgaard Raw Gin is based on a soft winter wheat distillate produced in a traditional 800 liter Cognac “Charentais still”. Over a period of 2 months, the distillate is watered down with limestone-filtered water from the Grande Champagne district of Cognac.

The silky base alcohol is then infused with 11 exquisite botanicals: Bulgarian organic juniper, hand-picked Danish Holsteiner Cox apples, raw licorice root, resin, toasted oak, ginger, coriander seeds, chufa (ground almonds), cinnamon, galangar root and whole fresh lemons.

The results speak for themselves.
