After founder Florens-Louis Heidsieck died in 1828, the company was taken over by his nephew Christian Heidsieck and his cousin Henri Guilaume Piper, who created the Piper-Heidsieck brand back in 1838.

Piper-Heidsieck consists of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier give Piper-Heidsieck its elegant structure. Chardonnay and the older cru provide balance and ensure Piper-Heidsieck’s classic expression.

Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Sublime has a warm copper color with silky bubbles. The aromas are floral with notes of dried fruit, caramelized pear, cinnamon, vanilla and nougat with a hint of rum cake.

The palette is fresh at first, with notes of caramelized pineapple and cake, giving way to a big soft and round balance with a long finish of vanilla and cinnamon.
