Puntacana Club Esplendido is a combination of younger and older distillates blended together with a specific rum with an age of approximately 25 years. The rum is then aged for 12-20 years in American oak barrels. So it’s a blend of different vintages and different aging methods and processes. This is also the answer to why you can’t find an age on the label.

Puntacana Club Esplendido offers a very gentle taste where the tangy flavor is almost imperceptible. It’s a sweet taste experience, with a caramelized flavour in particular. The aftertaste offers notes of brown sugar and vanilla, but this flavor disappears fairly quickly. It’s an excellent rum with a delicious taste, but with a flavor that only lasts for a short time.
