Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac is produced from 85% Grande champagne and 15% Petite champagne and thus contains a higher content of those cognacs. This combination entitles it to the quality designation Fine champagne. Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac is a blend of more than 300 distillates aged between 17 and 37 years. Which gives an average tasting age of 24 years. Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac has a very complex flavor that is incredibly smooth and caresses the inside of the mouth. The color is light mahogany with a crystal clear shine. The aroma is delicate jasmine and iris with fruity notes of ripe figs, candied orange and juicy plums. It also has notes of freshly grated ginger and freshly baked bread. Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac can be served with coffee or ice as an alternative to a good malt whisky.
