Warre’s was the first British port house to establish itself in Portugal, way back in 1670. This port, Warre’s Fine White Port, is made from white grapes from the Douro region. The port is aged at Warre’s Vila Nova de Gaia winery in a combination of oak and steel barrels.

Port is, as the name suggests, a light and bright port. It is medium dry and has a fresh, floral aroma. Notes of fresh almonds and acidity sit well on the tongue. The aftertaste is persistent and acidic. Enjoy the port slightly chilled to bring out the fresh fruit flavors. In addition, the port will be very good with a light dessert or in a long drink.
