Bornholms Distillery, located on Bornholm, is a small but absolutely remarkable craft distillery. Here, Martin H.S. Kofoed has been making gin and schnapps since 2017. All products from Bornholms Distillery are created with love for the Bornholm nature, from which the distillery gets its inspiration and botanicals.

This gin is a London dry gin made from sea buckthorn, gooseberries, mint leaves, mulberry and fig leaves, all harvested and collected on Bornholm from local plantations and private gardens. Coriander, licorice, lemon peel, lavender and of course juniper berries are also added.

The gin is versatile and inviting with fresh and fruity notes – the result of using botanicals in the greener, lighter department without compromising on the juniper profile.

In 2021, Bornholm Gin received a silver diploma from the judges of the World Spirits Trophy.

It is recommended to drink Bornholm Gin with a Mediterranean tonic over lots of ice, garnished with a handful of frozen sea buckthorn berries and a mint leaf.
